Softball Recap: Richford Comes Up Short

Richford managed to slip by Blue Mountain the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Falcons came up short against the Bucks on Monday, falling 15-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Falcons' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Richford saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayliese McCray, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Richford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Blue Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richford will venture away from home to take on Williamstown at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Blue Mountain, they will head out to square off against Winooski at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
