Cheverus had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They snuck past the Oxford Hills Vikings with a 41-37 win on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Stags: when they faced off against the Vikings back in January, they had to take a 50-29 defeat.

Cheverus is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points over those games. Oxford Hills' loss dropped their record down to 17-3.

Coming up, Cheverus will take on South Portland at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Portland comes in on nine and Cheverus on five. Oxford Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
