Football Game Recap: Delta Charter vs. Sicily Island

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Sicily Island and Delta Charter. Sicily Island were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Delta Charter 44-6. Delta Charter can consider this payback for the 20-22 loss they dealt Sicily Island the last time the teams encountered one another.

Sicily Island got off to a slow start in their game last week, but they had no such trouble against Delta Charter and cruised to a 22-point first half. Meanwhile, Delta Charter couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 22-0 heading into the break. Sicily Island put the match away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and six points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 3-2. The defeat dropped Delta Charter's record to 1-4.

Next week Sicily Island take on St. Frederick at 7:00 PM. Unlike Sicily Island, St. Frederick will be limping in after taking a loss. Delta Charter will be playing at home against Delhi at at 7:00 PM. These teams are both seeking redemption after dropping matches that they were favored to win.
