Softball Recap: Hannah-Pamplico Finds Home Field Redemption Against Johnsonville

There's no place like home for Hannah-Pamplico, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the Johnsonville Flashes get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Friday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Flashes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Kadence Poston's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chloe Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Savannah Owens, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Hannah-Pamplico's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Johnsonville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Hannah-Pamplico will welcome East Clarendon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnsonville, they will head out on the road to face off against Latta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Latta 1.4, Johnsonville 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
