Baseball Recap: Weldon STEM Comes Up Short

Weldon STEM was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 15-1 to the Warren County Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Monday.

Weldon STEM saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wali Tyson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Weldon STEM's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Warren County, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Weldon STEM nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
