Game recap: Parkview defeats Glendale

Parkview (Springfield, Mo.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat Glendale (Springfield, Mo.), 28-0, on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by Hunter Steinmetz in the first quarter, the Vikings led 21-0 at the half.

With the win Parkview extended its winning streak to six games. PHS defeated the Lakers 35-28 last week.

Cole Jenkins was the top performer for the Vikings. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.

Parkview came into the game allowing 16.8 points per game.



The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Falcons took, 45-0.

PHS (6-0) will play a Ozarks game against Hillcrest next week. The Hornets will bring a record of 5-0 into the meeting.
