Quinton Kirk of Capital Christian ran for the longest rushing play in Golden Empire this season against Lindhurst last week. Kirk scampered for 85 yards on the play and finished with 138 on the day as his team defeated the Blazers.

Capital Christian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lindhurst, 62-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for Phil Grams' team.

Jason Neiber's team's Tim Endicott and Zach Kitchen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Endicott has thrown for 1291 yards this season, while Kitchen, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 21 catches for 359 yards. Kirk from the Cougars leads the league in rushing with 1310 yards.

Korey Hall of the Dixon is only 100 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Hall has rushed for 900 yards on 134 carries so far this year.
