Soccer Game Preview: Columbiana vs. Champion

Columbiana hasn't had much luck against Champion recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Clippers will head out on the road to square off against the Golden Flashes at 6:00 p.m. Columbiana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Columbiana's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Crestview with a sharp 3-0 win. Columbiana better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Josie Hepler, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Meanwhile, Champion entered their tilt with Garfield on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the G-Men by a score of 3-1.

Champion's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Columbiana, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-3.
