Softball Recap: Valley Head Tigers vs. Gaylesville Trojans
Valley Head can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 15-8 margin over the Gaylesville Trojans. The high-scoring effort was just what Valley Head needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
Valley Head got a massive performance out of Olivia Woods, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Ware, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Valley Head pushed their record up to 20-15-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Gaylesville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.
As of now, neither Valley Head nor Gaylesville have any future games scheduled.
