Soccer Game Preview: Westosha Central vs. Union Grove

Westosha Central hasn't had much luck against Union Grove recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Broncos at 6:30 p.m. Westosha Central will be strutting in after a win while Union Grove will be coming in after a loss.

Union Grove better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Westosha Central's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Westosha Central really gets things going. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Burlington. The high-scoring effort was just what Westosha Central needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Union Grove faced Brookfield Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Broncos took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Union Grove couldn't quite close it out.

Union Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-2. As for Westosha Central, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-3.
