Basketball Recap: Wheeler County Bulldogs vs. Hawkinsville Red Devils
Wheeler County lost against Hawkinsville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wheeler County Bulldogs took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawkinsville Red Devils. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Wheeler County had strong showings from Makaylin Harvey, who posted six points and 11 boards, and CayMira Parker, who scored five points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Harvey has posted since back in November of 2024.
Alicia Newman had a dynamite game for Hawkinsville, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. Kyla Slocumb was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and six steals.
