Strong Rock Christian is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Rock Springs Christian Academy just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost to Rock Springs Christian Academy on the road by a 58-39 margin.

Despite their loss, Strong Rock Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Brooks Bibby, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards, was perhaps the best of all. Those nine boards gave Bibby a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cesario Gumbs-Webster, who posted seven points.

While Mount de Sales Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past St. George's, posting a 67-40 win. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Mount de Sales Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Strong Rock Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.

Strong Rock Christian ended up a good deal behind Mount de Sales Academy when the teams last played back in November, losing 52-38. Can Strong Rock Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
