Foothill won the last time they faced Johnson and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs claimed a resounding 58-31 win over the Warriors. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mustangs had established a 20-point advantage.

Xavier Balderas threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing. TJ Harbison was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground, Derrick Spears rushed for 93 yards and three scores on only 13 carries.

The victory made it two in a row for Foothill and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 37 points. As for Johnson, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
