Softball Recap: Glenelg Extends Road Winning Streak to Ten

While Glenelg's win against Marriotts Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Gladiators narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Marriotts Ridge 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Gladiators in their matchups with Marriotts Ridge: they've now won eight in a row.

Glenelg pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Marriotts Ridge, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.
