Football Recap: Amplus Academy Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Amplus Academy's offense. They were outmatched by the Bonanza Bengals and fell 31-0.

Among those leading the charge was Jayla Lopez, who threw for 105 yards and four touchdowns.

Amplus Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bonanza, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Amplus Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-6 loss against Chaparral on the 9th. As for Bonanza, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 30-0 win against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 9th.
