Baseball Recap: Wray Takes a Loss

Wray and Forge Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Wray had to settle for second. They lost 10-1 to the Fury. The Eagles were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Fury's pitchers proved too tough.

Wray saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gage Waitman, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

With the loss, Wray broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-12. As for Forge Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-4.

As of now, neither Wray nor the Fury have any future games scheduled.
