It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westside can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pulaski Academy Bruins by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Westside lost, don't look at Vada Watkins. Despite the final result, she had 29 digs and one assist. Watkins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Westside's loss dropped their record down to 29-5-2. As for Pulaski Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.
