Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Catholic Comes Up Short

Kennedy Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Sharon Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kennedy Catholic of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 25-10.

Emmalie Yobe had another great game (as she tends to do), getting eight digs and six aces for Sharon. Yobe is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. Alauna Wilson was another key player, getting 12 digs and two aces.

Kennedy Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Sharon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Kennedy Catholic nor Sharon have any future games scheduled.
