Baseball Recap: Fort Calhoun Comes Up Short

Fort Calhoun lost against Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Calhoun saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Christensen, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Fort Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Fort Calhoun will face off against Falls City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
