Football Recap: Cabrini Skates Past Lutheran Northwest with Ease + How To Watch

Cabrini strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 41-7 win over the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders. With the Monarchs ahead 28-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Cabrini got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan Bergdoll out in front who threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Bergdoll has posted since back in September of 2024. Jace Cetnar was in the mix too, providing Cabrini with two TDs.

Cabrini didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tyler Hernendez-Walsh and Walker Torolski.

Cabrini's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lutheran Northwest, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Cabrini and Lutheran Northwest will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Monarchs will take on rival Everest Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lutheran Northwest is set to challenge their familiar foe Whitmore Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
