Grayson County's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Hart County Raiders. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Gage Napier spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Grayson County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Rogers, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another was Garrett Bradley, who scored a run while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

The victory got Grayson County back to even at 1-1. As for Hart County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grayson County beat Hart County by a score of 4-2 later that day.
