Softball Recap: North Iredell Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hickory last Tuesday, North Iredell came back down to earth. The North Iredell Raiders took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bandys Trojans on Wednesday. The Raiders have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

North Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bandys, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Iredell will welcome Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hickory is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Bandys, they will be playing at home against West Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Caldwell will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Bandys surely won't give up without a fight.
