Volleyball Game Preview: Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats vs. North Harrison Cougars

The Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats will take on the North Harrison Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Evansville Mater Dei will be strutting in after a win while North Harrison will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Evansville Mater Dei got the win against Evansville Harrison by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-12.

Meanwhile, North Harrison unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Brownstown Central, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.

Evansville Mater Dei is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for North Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Evansville Mater Dei was able to grind out a solid victory over North Harrison when the teams last played back in October of 2022, winning 2-0. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
