Who's up and who's down

With the playoffs underway, it shouldn't be a shocker to learn that this has been a helter-skelter week in the power rankings. A special shoutout goes to Mentor's senior Tadas Tatarunas, who scored five total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.

Banging Down the Door

Say hello to Mason: the team broke into the power rankings at the 22nd position after its notable last-week performance. It kept its opponent West Clermont off the scoreboard entirely, winning the match 26 - 0. Mason made sure to walk the walk to justify being talked up as the big favorite.

Have a Day

Pickerington North got a 41 - 20 win over Wayne last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Jimmy Weirick. Weirick ran for 172 yards and also punched in two touchdowns. That performance landed Weirick among the top power-ranked players for the week.

No Margin for Error

It doesn't get any closer than a one-point game, and that was the margin of last week's closest contest, which featured thrill-seekers Lincoln and Olentangy Orange. Lincoln battled it out with Olentangy Orange for a well-earned 38 - 37 overtime win. The victory boosted Lincoln a satisfying 16 spots in the power rankings.
