Volleyball Recap: Highlands Gets the Win

After losing to Carrizo Springs the last time they met, Highlands decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Owls came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Highlands had a senior duo take command as Linden Sepulveda had 21 digs and two assists and Autumn Lopez had four digs and two aces. Sepulveda is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Highlands' win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Carrizo Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Highlands didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Holmes on the 30th. As for Carrizo Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Dilley on the 2nd.
