Alisal scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 44-40 to the Hollister Haybalers. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Haybalers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Hollister's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Jackson led the charge by picking up 247 receiving yards and three TDs. Jackson really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Cruz Raquet, who threw for 359 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.

This is the second loss in a row for Alisal and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Hollister, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Alisal wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 62-40 win against Monterey on the 25th. As for Hollister, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-10 loss against North Salinas on the 26th.
