Volleyball Recap: Hawthorne Comes Up Short

The Hawthorne Cougars came up short against the South Spartans on Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7, 25-10.

Hawthorne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hawthorne will head out to challenge Brea Olinda at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South, they will venture away from home to face off against Notre Dame Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
