A well-balanced attack led Guerin Catholic over Peru in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. The Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles enjoyed a cozy 46-27 victory over the Peru Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ava Bills continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 of 21 en route to 22 points along with eight steals and seven boards. Annie Murphy was another key player, putting up seven points along with five assists and four steals.

The win got Guerin Catholic back to even at 5-5. As for Peru, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Guerin Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-43 victory against New Palestine on the 18th. Peru has also already played their next game, a 48-39 win against Northwestern on the 17th.
