Basketball Recap: Lake Creek Takes a Loss

Lake Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 54-46 to the Montgomery Bears. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 51-45 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lake Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Montgomery, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Lake Creek will challenge Huntsville on Friday. As for Montgomery, they will face off against College Station at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. College Station will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Montgomery surely won't give up without a fight.
