Soccer Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Comes Up Short

Batesburg-Leesville lost against American Leadership Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 4-1 to the Patriots. Batesburg-Leesville's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Caitlyn Sirtout, who's now up to three this season.

Batesburg-Leesville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for American Leadership Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Batesburg-Leesville and American Leadership Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Batesburg-Leesville sees the pitch they'll take on Pelion at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for American Leadership Academy, their break will end when they face Ninety Six at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
