Bellmont won the last time they faced DeKalb and things went their way on Thursday too. The Braves put the hurt on the Barons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-6.

Leading Bellmont to victory were Gracie Riggs and Lilly Selking. Riggs had four digs and two aces, while Selking had 19 assists and three digs. Selking is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Bellmont was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matchups.

Bellmont's record now sits at 15-12. As for DeKalb, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Bellmont will challenge Huntington North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeKalb, they will take on Marion in a tournament on Saturday.
