Softball Recap: Jordan's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jordan entered their tilt with Riverside-Durham on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 12-9. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Sydney Cornwell was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Vanessa Armstrong, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Riverside-Durham, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Jordan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-5 victory against Green Hope on the 10th. Riverside-Durham has also already played their next game (against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
