Basketball Game Preview: Graves County Eagles vs. McCracken County Mustangs

The Graves County Eagles will square off against the McCracken County Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Graves County has four straight wins, McCracken County has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Graves County ended the year with a bang, routing Obion County 62-38. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, McCracken County didn't have quite enough to beat Breckinridge County on Sunday and fell 41-39. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Graves County pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for McCracken County, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
