Richland County waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Oblong Panthers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Natalie Ochs looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Taylor Bloomer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Miranda Dowty was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Richland County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oblong only posted an OBP of .143.

Richland County's record is now 13-8. As for Oblong, they moved to 7-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Richland County will take on Effingham at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oblong, they will take on Lawrenceville in a tournament on Saturday.
