Webster waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Glenwood City Hilltoppers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since August 28th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Webster who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-14, 24-26, 15-10.

Webster found their leader in sophomore Reese Grindell, who had nine digs and two aces.

Despite the loss, Glenwood City still got an impressive performance from Opal Voeltz, who had 19 digs. Voeltz has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Webster's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Glenwood City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Webster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Shell Lake on the 25th. As for Glenwood City, they will head out on the road to face off against Clear Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
