Basketball Game Preview: Havana Ducks vs. Mendon Unity Mustangs

The Havana Ducks will take on the Mendon Unity Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Havana is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Prairie 72-17. The Ducks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mendon Unity didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Rushville-Industry on Monday, but they still walked away with a 55-51 victory.

Havana is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Mendon Unity, their win bumped their record up to 15-17.
