Softball Recap: Tonopah Valley Takes a Loss

Tonopah Valley managed to slip by Parker the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Phoenix lost 25-9 to the Broncs on Saturday. The Phoenix just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Ellie Procunier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Shiloh Walker, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Tonopah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Parker, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-15-1.

Looking ahead, Tonopah Valley will head out on the road to face off against Yuma Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parker, they will be playing at home against Antelope at 1:45 p.m. on Monday. The Broncs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 13.2 runs per game this season.
