Softball Recap: Tonopah Valley Phoenix vs. Parker Broncs
Tonopah Valley managed to slip by Parker the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Phoenix lost 25-9 to the Broncs on Saturday. The Phoenix just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.
Ellie Procunier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Shiloh Walker, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.
Tonopah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Parker, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-15-1.
Looking ahead, Tonopah Valley will head out on the road to face off against Yuma Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parker, they will be playing at home against Antelope at 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
