Basketball Recap: Encinal Wins Going Away Against Tennyson

Encinal's game on Thursday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the Tennyson Lancers with a sharp 80-60 victory. The Jets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Tennyson's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Walker, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 18 boards. Walker has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 20 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Louis Gonzalez III, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 17 points and three steals.

Encinal's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Tennyson, they dropped their record down to 6-19 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Encinal nor Tennyson have any future games scheduled.
