Meanwhile, Maranatha Christian Academy made easy work of Osseo on Monday and carried off a 13-7 win. Considering the Mustangs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Jenna Burns spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, Kendall Capp was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracelyn Kersey-Schutta, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
