Softball Recap: Chuckey-Doak Comes Up Short

Chuckey-Doak fell victim to Union County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 9-0 to the Patriots. If the Black Knights were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chuckey-Doak has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Union County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Chuckey-Doak will challenge South Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Union County, they will face off against Grainger at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
