Soccer Recap: Mifflin County Comes Up Short

Mifflin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Waynesboro Indians. That's two games in a row now that Mifflin County have lost by just one goal.

Mifflin County's loss dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Waynesboro, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mifflin County will challenge rival Gettysburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Waynesboro is set to square off against their familiar foe West Perry at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
