Softball Recap: Perryton Comes Up Short

Perryton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Hereford Whitefaces, falling 13-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Whitefaces this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in March.

Perryton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Hereford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Perryton is set to square off against their familiar foe Borger at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hereford will challenge rival Randall at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
