Volleyball Recap: West Orange Finds Home Court Redemption Against Jefferson Township

There's no place like home for West Orange, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Jefferson Township Falcons 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day West Orange got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 13-25, 25-18.

Nola Duncan paced West Orange's offense, picking up 13 kills. Duncan got some help from Nayeli Roodriguez and her 21 assists. Finally, Reese Rembert kept West Orange's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

West Orange has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Jefferson Township, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Looking ahead, West Orange will challenge Columbia at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jefferson Township, they will square off against Vernon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
