Basketball Game Preview: Zane Trace Pioneers vs. Adena Warriors

Zane Trace is 1-9 against Adena since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Zane Trace Pioneers will host the Adena Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, Zane Trace came up short against Piketon and fell 50-41.

Meanwhile, Adena posted their closest win since January 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Amanda-Clearcreek 37-35. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Aces are ranked 94th).

Adena has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Zane Trace, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
