On Friday, North Brunswick was beaten by Sayreville 46-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the North Brunswick Raiders have suffered against the Bombers since September 7, 2018.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Westfield with a sharp 24-0 win. That looming 24-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Joseph, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

North Brunswick might still be hurting after the 40-14 defeat they got from St. Joseph in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the North Brunswick Raiders were down 28-6.
