Basketball Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt an 80-31 defeat at the hands of the Hauser Jets. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hauser to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Keller, who went 10-for-14 on his way to 23 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Keller a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ledger Gelfius, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 20 points and seven rebounds.

Milan's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Hauser, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Milan has already played their next game (against Jac-Cen-Del), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hauser, they will be playing at home against Greenwood Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
