After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Triad Math and Science Academy, Phoenix Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the North Stokes Vikings 4-3. Considering Phoenix Academy's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit North Stokes with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josh Littlejohn, Jaden Adams, Jalen Adams, and Prayas Shrestha.

Phoenix Academy moved to 4-9-1 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak. As for North Stokes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-2 record this season.

Phoenix Academy will square off against Bethany Community at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Stokes, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against South Stokes on the 7th.
