Baseball Recap: Bluffton Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Bluffton hadn't done well against Hilton Head Island recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bobcats walked away with a 7-4 win over the Seahawks. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 5-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bluffton let Bradley Robbins and Carter All run wild. Robbins scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while All scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Nate Ulmer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Bluffton's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Hilton Head Island, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Bluffton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Seahawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
