St. Joseph entered their tilt with Racine Lutheran on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders. The Lancers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Crusaders, so the Lancers were just returning the favor.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

St. Joseph found their leader in sophomore Lilli Baez, who had seven digs and three aces.

St. Joseph was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matchups.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Racine Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

St. Joseph has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Wilmot on the 20th. As for Racine Lutheran, they will square off against St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
