Basketball Recap: Mission Christian Academy Wolverines vs. Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles
Mission Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt an 82-48 loss at the hands of the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles on Friday. The Wolverines were down 65-37 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Kokomo HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maximus Hogsett out in front who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 14 assists. Those 14 assists gave Hogsett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grayson Hembree, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten boards.
Kokomo HomeSchool will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tippecanoe HomeSchool on November 4. Mission Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' game: after the Eagles face off against Kosciusko County HomeSchool, they'll take on Mission Christian Academy again at 7:45 p.m. on February 13, 2026.
